Proud winner of the Evening Standard Award and London Critics' Circle as Lead Producer of The Scottsboro Boys, Tony winner for Clybourne Park. A five time Tony nominee, she is also a Four Time Olivier Award Nominee: Dreamgirls (2017), Show Boat (2017), People Places & Things (2016) and The Scottsboro Boys at Young Vic. (2013) Offie Winner: The Life (Southwark Theatre, 2017) Her five Tony nominations include: Fiddler on the Roof (2016), Clybourne Park (2012), Peter and the Starcatcher (2012), The Scottsboro Boys (2011) and Next Fall (2010). Tony Voter, Member of the Broadway League, Member of SOLT (UK) and League of Professional Theatre Women, Catherine produced Desperate Writers, a play she co-wrote, Off Broadway at the Union Square Theatre. Honored for her work with the Scottsboro Boys Museum, she received the Key to the City of Scottsboro and gave the keynote address at the signing of the Scottsboro Boys Act, 2013. Catherine studied at Yale College (B.A. English, Phi Beta Kappa, Magna Cum Laude) and is also a film/television writer and actress. She is happily married to Miles N. Ruthberg, nationally renowned attorney and Senior Partner at Latham & Watkins. They have two beautiful children, Stephanie and Jeremy. Catherine now lives in New York City, with London becoming a second home. |
